Fun for the whole family with music, dancing and food at the Korban Ceilidh fundraiser!

Dancing the night away knowing you are raising money for your favourite charity is always a good feeling. That's what everyone enjoyed at the 2017 Korban Ceilidh, held on Saturday 25th November at St Anne's hall. Around 50 people were in attendance, from small children through to some more 'senior' dancers and everyone had a great time. There were even some international students from the University of Essex who seemed a little bemused by what was going on but threw themselves into it wholeheartedly anyway. Everyone enjoyed a ploughman's supper and raffle as the night went on.

PICTURE?

We want to say a huge thank you to one of the Korban trustees, Sue, who organised the whole event and put so much hard work in. Thank you also to the fabulous Jasper Ceilidh Band who led us through all the dances and gave everyone such a good time.

The result?

The great news is that this brilliant evening raised £228.40 for the ongoing work of Korban and has been put to great use already.
