Korban Come Dine With Me - Korban navy.png

As part of our ongoing fundraising, we're so excited to launch 'Korban Dine with Me'!

Following the format of the popular TV series, we're encouraging you - our friends and supporters, to host a dinner party to raise awareness of the work of Korban and also raise some crucial funds.  Whilst we're not suggesting you include the scorecards, we do encourage lots of fun!  The dinner party will be interspersed with elements to share and highlight the work that Colchester Korban Project does within the city.  We've prepared a variety of resources to help with this, from a quiz to visual material.

At Korban, our weekly communal meal with staff and residents is a key feature, and we know the benefits of eating together to foster relationships and grow connections.  We hope that through Korban Dine With Me, the benefits of communal meal will extend beyond Bethany Place, to your homes too.

Some of the key info...

What? A dinner party (or afternoon if you prefer)

Where? A location of your choice

When? Whenever you choose, but in the next 2-3 months would be great!

Why? To raise awareness and funds for Korbans vital work with homeless young people in Colchester.

££?  As the host, your contribution will be running the evening, providing the space and doing the food. We suggest a donation from your guests of £25pp to our work.

We’d love to see photos and positive reactions to the evening from you and your guests!  If you’re on social media and happy to share, please do tag us in your posts (links below) or send them to us by e-mail.

We’re so looking forward to hearing about your Korban Dine With Me dinner party, so do keep in touch and share how it went, and any feedback you have. Thank you for your ongoing support for Korban - young people’s lives are being changed though your generosity.
